My sons birthday and we always go out playing. Newgale looked like the best chance of surf or wind. Got there at 12ish to a flat sea, 1'at best and no wind but in the true tradition we had to get wet (birthday bath). Within half an hour got my first set that came in at 2'+ and woop-d-do we where of fo a three hour session of near constant fun on my big old longboard, perfect shaped wedge groundswell. Ended up past cold and knackered. Great birthday party Dan, thanks to the God of the sea (and a curry after).
